Hyatt Place Chicago South/University Medical Center is the only hotel designed to support the University of Chicago campus and University of Chicago Medical Center. Only 5 miles from the McCormick Place Convention Center and Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears. The hotel is one block away from public transportation to Downtown Chicago and within walking distance to the Museum of Science and Industry and the Lake Shore bike/walking path. This brand new LEED-certified, 6 story hotel boasts 131 stylish and fully-equiped guest rooms along with contemporary guest amenities including a Cafe Bar, indoor pool, fitness facility, and easily accessible and affordable valet parking. Our state of the art meeting room seats up to 100 people comfortably. The hotel is 13.0 miles from Midway. Free breakfast for all guests. Our breakfast includes premium ingredients, cage-free eggs, and regional chef-inspired dishes.
Pet Policy – 1-6 nights a 75 Non-Refundable fee. 7-30 nights a 75 Non-Refundable fee plus an additional 100 cleaning fee. Maximum of 2 dogs per room are permitted. Weight must be 50 lbs or less max of 75 lbs per room. Fees are in USD. Service Animals are exempt from fees.
