Helona Resort is located at the southern cost of Kos island, in front of a long sandy beach, across the volcanic island Nissyros. The resorts most striking highlights are its impressive architecture and the 21 infinity swimming pools. Water flows from one pool into the other creating a natural melody and allowing the wet element to reach the faade of the rooms. The domes and cobbled alleys bear allusions to the ancient palaces of Knossos as well as the Byzantine era. Details of the Italian architecture legacy of the Dodecanese Islands is also apparent. nRooms are spread in independent buildings amidst beautiful gardens. The buildings are low, with earthy colors and are constructed with natural materials, primarily wood, marble, stone, which allow the entire complex to blend harmoniously with its surroundings.
